At least three men dead, fifteen to twenty injured, including survivors from the Palace Hotel boiler explosion. Arthur Huse remains at large after forging A T Clark’s name to a Pow Wow River National Bank check. Last seen in Newburyport, suspected to have boarded the Portland express. Clark reports Huse robbed him of goods and money. Huse has a Nyack wife and two children and is wanted in New York for similar charges. He has faked checks using the name Arthur Bixby. Huse worked on a South Hampton farm prior to two months in town.

Edwin Bethel, aged 87 and a Wisconsin born actor, burst into his wife's Cambridge hotel room in Hartford, firing four shots as Mrs Dallas Tyler and her mother resisted. Bethel, who plays in Hood Man Blind, is in custody after a violent domestic quarrel in which no injuries occurred to his wife. He claims her mother instigated the trouble and says he will kill her when released. Miss Tyler, 19, in The Senator role, finishes her season tonight and they were married in 1893. Mr Bethel faces arraignment today.

A man, reportedly E. H. Coniff of 47 Piedmont street, fell from a moving Belt Line car at 86 Charles street last night.
