Assistant United States District Attorney William H. Garland rushed to New York to confer with Treasury agents chief John Wilkie after increasing bail for Terrence L. Shevlin and wife and releasing Miss Margaret Mulhall on her own recognizance. Mulhall may testify against the Gheviins as Garland seeks more evidence from her.
