Old Evidence Objected In Hemmingway Case Trial
Nine witnesses testified in Franklin county court about the murder of Jennie Hemmingway in August 1917. The defense objected as the state offered Warm's prior testimony and declarations from the former trial. Dr. Stone and two other officials testified the death was due to asphyxia from external pressure, and the dress worn by the victim was identified. The court recessed to consider the objections.
