Nairobi April 25 Roosevelt and party hunted at Kapiti Plains and bagged two wildebeest and a Thompson's gazelle. A Grant's gazelle eluded capture. Smallpox cases among Kapiti porters prompted quarantine. Police restrict access to Roosevelt party as game remains plentiful and baggage all accounted for.
Broughton Brandenburg admitted Mrs Cabanne of St Louis as his wife only after police questioned him. He now says she did not divorce his first wife until December 1906 in British Honduras and that, though not legally married, she is his moral wife and soul mate. He claimed a legal flaw in the divorce would be fixed.
Forecast for Boston and vicinity calls for fair and warmer Monday. Tuesday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with warmer conditions and westerly to southerly winds. In New England the national forecast shows fair weather in the west, with showers in the east on Monday and possible snow in Maine, followed by fair conditions Tuesday.

April 25 Springfield resident Mrs. Florence Mathewson died instantly when a Boston party four car overturned on the West Warren road. The vehicle ricocheted and stopped on a stone pile, injuring others in the party.
With Mrs. Mathewson and her husband Ralph I. present, Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Wright of 10 Temple Street, Springfield, were involved as occupants. Wright drove the machine, owned by Mr. Mathewson. The car struck an electric light pole, plunging Warren tonight into total darkness as the lighting system was disarranged.
