Reports say New England farmers are being organized to withdraw milk from the Boston market after April 30. If plans wobble, Boston may face a milkless May 1 as the Boston Cooperative Milk Producers Association presses its action.

A five gallon water heater exploded in barber shop owner John F. Lacey’s shop on the Rich block in Malden at 10 30 tonight shattering plate glass windows across the street and destroying fixtures. The blast was heard for miles and residents fled as alarms rang.
