Demand issued for surrender of Juarez to insurrecto army

El Paso Tex April 19. A formal demand was made tonight on General Juan Navarro for the surrender of Juarez within 24 hours to the insurrecto army of Francisco I Madero Jr. The demand reached Navarro at his headquarters as he inspected fortifications for the city’s defence.

Malden Man Shoots Wife Then Kills Himself

Zachariah T. Tallon of 754 Salem street Malden shot his wife in the kitchen then fired two shots at his stepdaughter Edna Desmond as police entered. He then killed himself with his last cartridge after pursuing Edna into the street.

Car Crash Kills Couple as Four Passengers Arrested

George Day operated the auto that struck Miss Thomas and her fiancé Hunt near a shadowed road. Day and two others, George A. Hancock and Edgar Kelley, were arrested. a fourth, known to police, is being sought. All are North Attleboro residents. The couple walked slowly in dark clothing when the car from Pawtucket hit them.
