El Paso Tex April 19. A formal demand was made tonight on General Juan Navarro for the surrender of Juarez within 24 hours to the insurrecto army of Francisco I Madero Jr. The demand reached Navarro at his headquarters as he inspected fortifications for the city’s defence.
Gonzales Garza confirms a formal demand from the insurrecto party for the surrender of Juarez within 24 hours to General Navarro who commands the federal garrison. The demand was sent from El Paso to U S Consul Edwards in Juarez to be relayed to Navarro, with no reply yet received.
Newton resident Frederick S. Small bought an estate on Chestnut Street Newton and Stephen S. Langley purchased a country place in Falmouth. The Massachusetts Title Inducence Company examined and guaranteed the titles with advance fees. Offices at 70 State Street Boston.

Miss Covel and Mr Avitabile planned their Paris romance to a city wedding after securing a license Tuesday. The ceremony occurs at the bride's mother's home 617 Commonwealth Avenue, ending a summer romance that began in Paris with Covel visiting her sister Mrs Gennaro Avitabile. The intimate friends were not told in advance.
Zachariah T. Tallon of 754 Salem street Malden shot his wife in the kitchen then fired two shots at his stepdaughter Edna Desmond as police entered. He then killed himself with his last cartridge after pursuing Edna into the street.
Mrs Tallon dragged to the yard pursued by her husband as Miss Desmond supported her wounded mother on the ground. Officer Isaiah Melain arrived at the scene and helped secure the suspect.
Miss Lottie Thomas and George Hunt, ages 21, were struck and killed by an automobile while walking hand in hand near the Pawtucket line on the old Boston Providence road in North Attleboro at dusk. Hunt was to marry Thomas in June.
George Day operated the auto that struck Miss Thomas and her fiancé Hunt near a shadowed road. Day and two others, George A. Hancock and Edgar Kelley, were arrested. a fourth, known to police, is being sought. All are North Attleboro residents. The couple walked slowly in dark clothing when the car from Pawtucket hit them.
