Mrs Hannah Pearson aged 35 wife of Gustav Pearson 30 a Needham farmer and bricklayer was found dead in her home last evening from a bullet wound. Gustav Pearson 33 a farm hand and namesake husband is missing and under suspicion as authorities issue a citywide description.

Death of Mrs Pearson Under Mysterious Circumstances

Charles Carlson a state ward aged six living with the Pearsons reported the death. He found Mrs Pearson dead on the floor with a .3 caliber revolver five feet away. Husband Mr Pearson, a bricklayer in Waltham, was away and returned after the body was found. He could not explain the shooting.

Electrocution at Winchedon Toy Factory Claims Worker

Amon Whipple 27 of Jackson Avenue an operator at Morton E Converse Son toy factory Winchedon was electrocuted while near a nailing machine. A short circuit fed about 600 volts through a water pipe he grasped as he fell his coworkers shut off power and he died at the scene. He is survived by his parents a brother Charles and two sisters Pauline and Beryl Whipple all of Winchedon.

Lone Gunman Robs A Store In Mattapan

A lone gunman entered Moses Berlaut's drug store at 1088 Blue Hill Avenue shortly after 10 last evening and robbed the proprietor of 60 dollars at gunpoint. Berlaut, alone in the shop, described the suspect as about 22, 5 feet 7 inches, 135 pounds, light complexion, wearing a dark brown overcoat and soft brown hat. Mattapan police alerted.
