Tech Men Have Festal Night at MIT Promenade
The MIT junior class held their annual promenade last night at the Hotel Somerset with about 400 attendees. The dance concluded junior week festivities and catered to upper classmen, featuring Technology pennants decorations and rambler and hemlock roses. A bouquet favor dance preceded the intermission and a streamer fusillade closed the last dance.

Hold Tupper As Murderer In Maine Hearing
Harlan Tupper was bound over to the grand jury on a murder charge after a short hearing in Bingham Maine. He was ordered held without bail at Skowhegan jail to await September grand jury action for the killing of Fred McLaughlin. Tupper pleaded not guilty but offered no defense. The state called three witnesses: Deputy Thomas J Collins Paul Hebert and W S Stinchfield. Hebert testified McLaughlin a muscular man had knocked both Tupper and Hebert down and then fired.
