Skeletons Found During Drainage Dig on Dudley Street

Workmen on Friday in Roxbury near Blue Hill avenue uncovered skeletons while digging for drainage. The site, once a Revolutionary War hospital for wounded soldiers, is believed to hold the remains of Revolutionary patriots. Earlier, authorities ordered vacating houses on Thorndike and Allen streets due to foul vaults and defective drainage, and inspectors filed 95 new complaints about drainage issues.
