Prominent Dorchester Man Vanishes From Home

Dorchester painter Charles William Peterson disappeared April 1 after suffering recent health issues. Mrs. Peterson appeals for help via the Post, noting his past financial dealings, tattoos, scars, and last seen route from East Cambridge to Boston. Canadian brake man sues New York New Haven Hartford

The U S Circuit Court of Appeals affirms the circuit court decision in favor of James E. O Leary a Canadian citizen employed as a brakeman by the New York New Haven Hartford Railroad Company. On December 17 1897 while riding atop a car on the Providence division he contacted a guy stretched across the tracks.

Jury verdict in McCarthy v Hutchinson case at Chelsea court

A verdict for the defendant was returned yesterday morning by the jury in the Superior Court before Judge Sherman in the case of Dennis McCarthy against Eden Hutchinson Jr court and probation officer of the Chelsea Police Court. The plaintiff sought $1000 damages for an assault alleged to have occurred as he was expelled from the Chelsea Police Court.

Cocke Divorce Case Returns To Superior Court Equity Session

Mrs Cocke seeks to restrain her husband and Minnie C Fleck from disposing of property alleged to belong to Mrs Cocke worth several thousand dollars. Chief Justice Mason issued a temporary injunction.
