Attempted home invasion ends with assault on Miss McDonald
A man described as Cunningham visited Miss McDonald claiming Mr. Smith sent for his over coat. She refused and, about two hours later, a second intruder appeared in the cellar. A struggle ensued during which she suffered a deep cut to her right hand from a nail on a stick. Sergeants Kelly and Carter were assigned to the case.
