Sennettt Sued for $50,000 in Milky Street Case

Lillian M Turner of Malden filed a $50,000 suit in Superior Court against John Sennett of Milk Street for alleged misrepresentation and leading her to invest in Hancock Minds Company stocks. The plaintiff claims damages from statements she says induced the investment.

Stock Purchases Lead to Two Separate Lawsuits

The first suit alleges a May 1910 to July 1910 purchase of Hancock Company stock based on Sennett statements about earnings and dividends, with $17,450 in damages claimed. The second suit, filed yesterday, by Arioch W. Erickson seeks $75,000 over 200 shares of preferred and 301 shares of common Union Manufacturing Forge Company stock bought as treasury stock.

George B. Fowle Dies in Needham After Musical Life

George B. Fowle died at his Needham home on Great Plain Avenue aged about 50 years. A well known figure in Boston music circles years ago he led church choirs and organized several choruses. Born in Roxbury he attended Boston Latin School and helped form St Paul’s Cathedral double quartet and founded St Andrew's Episcopal in Wellesley and Christchurch in Needham.

Jeannette O Niel six of 18 Story street South Boston was struck by a Bay View City Point streetcar at East Wighth Covington streets at 2 30 yesterday afternoon and died at Carney Hospital. Witnesses say the motorman George McKenna tried to avoid the child but she ran in front of the moving car on her way home from school.
