Dun's Review Highlights Mixed Trade Signals

R G Dun & Co notes improving bank clearings up 50 percent from last year and 5.36 percent above 1905, with increasing confidence about the future. In cotton goods, wide print cloth converters show activity, while contracts rise only with advances. Men’s wear woolens see fewer cancellations. spring goods are scarce and priced at premiums. Footwear shows leather buying by large manufacturers, and several firms place contracts. Late spring orders sustain many factories, with others starting fall contracts.
