In fog bound air lanes between London and Paris two passenger planes collided head on after pilots tried to avoid each other. Officials of the French line issued a communique blaming the British pilot for the crash, as details emerged from Paris.

Charles Guertin of Chicopee paid a $100 fine after lingering payment following a 1920 plea of guilty to manufacturing liquor. Originally imposed by Judge Hale, the fine was reimposed by Judge Morris after Hale’s resignation, with Guertin given time to settle the debt.
