War relic unearthed on Franklin street lawn

Workmen digging for a cellar foundation on Fred Pratt’s Melrose Highlands estate yesterday uncovered a small cannon of the type used about a century ago. The relic, torn from its carriage by a shell, was mounted on an improvised carriage and displayed on Pratt’s front lawn.
