New York April 4. At 9 o clock last night Warren F Leland proprietor of the Windsor Hotel who recently had appendix surgery grew critical. Dr Pitkin urged summoning relatives and stayed at the bedside through the night. By 1 o'clock this morning hope had departed and the doctor feared survival past daylight. Portions of another body were found among the ruins of the Windsor Hotel.
