In Cleveland on April 3 Farley a Democrat wins the mayoral race by about 10 000 votes over McKisson the incumbent. McKisson trails in every precinct while the Republican ticket heads to likely wins for treasurer police judge and other posts. Victory seen as Hanna aligned.
Boxes at Music Hall auctioned for a total 21 105 dollars surpassing last year by over 10 000. Ninety one boxes sold to buyers including Eben D. Jordan and H V R Thayer with premiums totaling 13 005 and original cost 8 100. Seventeen boxes went to ticket agents as society attendance rose for the event.
