Shooting at Buffalo showman in a New York saloon

Samuel Haller, a Buffalo Bills Wild West Show ticket seller, was fatally wounded in a West Fifty Ninth Street saloon. The shooter, 33 year old William Kand, a St. Cloud Hotel guest and Montreal bookmaker, escaped. Haller was rushed to Roosevelt Hospital in grave condition with an abdomen wound and intestinal laceration. coroner Zucca filed an ante mortem statement.
