Melancholy tragedy ends at Cambridge home
Mrs Matilda Stevenson wife of painter William A Stevenson was found dead by suicide in her Cambridge home between 10 30 pm and 6 30 am after she had shown intent to end her life. Her husband had kept watch as a precaution. A little boy was taken out as requested by the deceased before the tragedy. Dr Ready attended and confirmed the death from suspension by rope.
