Mrs. Reiter Cragun Bowers 87 of Zionsville died Monday night at home after a two day illness bronchial pneumonia was the cause. Born August 7 1826 in Shelby county Kentucky she lived in Boone county since age nine surviving children include Josephine Peters Melvina St Clair George L Hiram N Strange N Cragun and others with several deceased. She married Hiram Cragun in 1842 then John Bowers in 1893, burial at Pleasant View cemetery after services at Pleasant View M E Church led by Rev H C Weston.
