Germans Establish Blockade Off American Coast
New York report says Germany has a permanent blockade off the American coast and soon a fleet of U boats capable of operating against all Atlantic ports. The claim comes from a former U 151 boatswain who served five years in the US Navy, made to Enoch Rocker aboard the sunken schooner Edna.

Germany sinks ships off American coast as volume of losses grows

Navy Announces Mine Picked Up Off Delaware Coast
Washington June 4 The navy announces a mine has been picked up off the Delaware coast by a mine sweeper. Also appears a Sunday School Institute announcement for Dallas and Benham district, and farm in town notices offering a bungalow with orchard on Ector Pike and 51 acres of land at $150 per acre with easy terms.
