Tilman Robenold born March 20 1849 in Schuylkill County Pennsylvania died October 23 1904 at Craigville Indiana aged 55 years 7 months 3 days. He married Melissa Crum and left three sons two daughters a wife three brothers and two sisters. He joined the Christian Union at Oakland Chapel in 1894 and remained faithful amid illness. Funeral at Christian Union church Craigville October 24 with Rev C T Payne. burial in Oakland Cemetery. Emma D Pyle.

George B. Mackey, formerly of Cleveland, filed a voluntary bankruptcy petition in Federal Court after losses from oil leases in Liberty township. He lists liabilities of 5594.28 and assets of 2902.00, claiming he was swindled when leases costing about 6000 failed to yield profits. Creditors in Cleveland are expected to claim about 3000, with minor claims elsewhere.

The bride is daughter of James Henry Healy. the groom is a local physician. The couple will reside here.

Garrett Griffith 48 was found dead beside a Montpelier area track after an interurban car struck him. Authorities say the death appears accidental with the victim sleeping by the track while intoxicated. his wife and five children are affected though he had not lived with them recently.

Mrs Madella McCormick wife of Philip McCormick died Sunday at 11 am at her East Horton street home after a long asthma illness. Born December 24 1843 near Circleville Ohio she first married James Thornton now deceased. She left four of eleven children living C E H Thornton Jennie Hall George and Elmer McCormick. The couple moved to Bluffton in 1877. She belonged to the Wesleyan Methodist church. Funeral at Wesleyan Methodist church tomorrow at 2 pm with interment in Fairview cemetery.
