It touts thirty years of use, describes benefits to nerves digestion and the whole body, and offers a free two ounce sample with a $1 purchase from Scott & Bowne in New York.
Washington reports the interior secretary has asked the president to issue an executive order reserving Brenton Old Harbor and Freemason Islands at the Mississippi mouth as government land to halt wholesale bird slaughter. Agriculture initiated by seeking preservation, with petitions showing the islands as hunting grounds for pet birds. Protection would apply to public land under existing laws.

Lela D Shepherd daughter of Geo Shepherd died Wednesday. The funeral was held at Bethel Church at 2:30 o clock. Interment followed at nearby cemetery in Decatur.
H G Gamble of Harrison township applies at the Wells county commissioners November term 1904 for a one year license to sell spirituous vinous and malt liquors in quantities under a quart with on premises drinking rights. The front first story room of a two story brick building on lot 35 east side Market street Bluffton faces Market street. the space 17 3 4 by 48 feet, glass front, no partitions, securely lockable.
A Wells County Indiana sheriff sale notices the sale of rents and profits from the oil lease on the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section 12, township 25 north range 11 east, including oil well No 1 and derrick, to satisfy a decree for 595 dollars 60 cents plus interest and costs. The sale occurs November Sunday 1904 between 10 am and 4 pm at the courthouse door Bluffton. If rents fail to satisfy the decree, the fee simple of the real estate may be sold to discharge the balance. J R Johnston sheriff. W Kinnan attorney.
The State of Indiana to the Sheriff of Wells County commands notice for a general election on November 8, 1904. Officers listed include Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Auditor, Treasurer, Attorney General, Supreme Court justices, Superintendent of Public Instruction, State Statistician, Congress representative, Wells County officials, and township officers. Official certification dated October 17, 1904 by Clerk Hugh D. Studabaker and Sheriff James R. Johnston.

Homeseekers trips on the first and third Tuesdays each month. Stopover privileges of ten days within ticket limits at St. Louis on through tickets by depot with joint agency.
