Paying for Water at City Hall Reveals Metered Discrepancy
At the city council meeting Mayor Mack reported the county court house used water from three service lines, only one metered. A test by Fred Tangeman and Street Commissioner Gebrett showed that shutting off the line to the meter left two closets and a faucet running while other taps had no water. Records indicated the court house paid a flat rate for two closets and a faucet, meaning the city received only what it provided and nothing more, so no change in water lines will occur and supply remains the same.
