Divorce Granted in Circuit Court for Elizabeth Shoemaker
In circuit court yesterday afternoon Elizabeth Shoemaker was granted divorce from Gabriel. Custody of their child Josephine awarded to the mother. Gabriel ordered to pay $10 monthly into court for the child's care, first payment due today. The couple wed Bluffton August 10, 1901, and she claims abandonment and cruelty starting in 1901.
