Brawl at Fox Saloon Ends with Fight and Damaged Bicycle
Jim Forrest was ejected after a clash at the Fox saloon with Jake Masterson, bartender. Forrest struck at Masterson. Masterson and his son punched him, throwing him into an alley before he left. A bicycle leaning inside was badly damaged in the scuffle as Forrest tumbled against it. The bike later went to A. R. Groves for repair.

Resolutions for paving east Market and Bennett streets

Henry Brineman Dead After Long Illness in Liberty Township
Henry Brineman an elderly resident of Liberty township died Sunday morning at about eight o'clock. He was over eighty four and had moved from Ohio in 1850. He leaves a wife and four children Riley George Margaret and Mrs Thomas E Moorman. Funeral was Monday at 2 p.m. at South Liberty church with burial in Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
