Township trustees and teachers gathered Saturday December 5 at Frog Vond school house. T Hurst called the meeting to order and officers were elected including W S Van Horn as chairman and T E Williams as secretary. Lenora Johns read a paper on the school plan for the year. F C Anderson led discussion. Dinner followed courtesy of patrons. Session resumed at 1 15 p m with David Cachsenrider opening a paper on Ruskin.

Wells county mourns the death of Joseph Misner aged 72 years. He came to the county in 1852 from Mahoning county Ohio and settled in Mncion township. The funeral was held at St John’s church on Sunday December 2 conducted by Rev Wa M Hamilton. He left a wife a daughter Mrs John N Fryback and two deceased daughters and two grandchildren.
