Big scare as nitro glycerine wagon sparks arrest
Last Saturday Chris Seabold and Dave Thompson were arrested for leaving a wagon load of explosive near the Hale addition. Seabold owned the hauling contract from Empire Nitro-Glycerine factory to the oil field. Thompson, a wagoner, claimed he followed orders but was found to have left the load within city limits. Thompson released as a employed by Seabold. Seabold bound over to next term with heavy fines and possible imprisonment for keeping the deadly material near property.
