Emery Taylor a farmer about sixty years old living north of Bloomfield died Monday morning. He was buried in Grandview cemetery this afternoon. He is survived by a wife and six children four sons and two daughters.

Pupils ages nine to fifteen built diverse designs for martins bluebirds wrens and sap suckers with prizes awarded for workmanship originality and adaptability. Rex Weaver won first for a bluebird box, Rilus Cook second for a wren box, and Lee Timmons third for a log cabin style box.
