McIntosh is tendered the position of county agent through the agricultural department, with the filing and appointment processes led by Co. F. and the agency.
The three railroad bridges over the Wabash River in Terre Haute were placed under military guard on Wednesday. Boats may not pass from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., may not stop at piers, and must stay in the main channel. Only railroad employees with permits may cross or stay near the bridges.

John Tennantp of Linton aged twenty nine killed himself with a razor at his father in law J W Holder's home last Saturday after visiting for supper. He excused himself, went to another room, and was found dead by his wife who entered the room. No motive is known.
