Gene Parker Dies In Nebraska
Gene Parker 56, longtime central Wyoming resident, died Saturday in Omaha after seeking treatment. Born May 10, 1904 in Grey Cliff Montana, he lived in Big Timber and Edgerton before moving to Jamestown Colorado and Plattsmouth Nebraska for work. He is survived by Olive his wife three daughters two dozen relatives and a sister. His body was brought to Casper for burial with funeral services planned for Thursday Sept 22.

Carrier overturns east of Big Timber on Highway 10
A Canadian car carrier loaded with a pickup and four passenger cars overturned eight miles east of town on Highway 10 at 10:45 Tuesday night. The driver Reginald Bechard of Chatham Ontario and passenger Phyllis Dahl suffered minor injuries. Big Timber wreckers towed and untangled the rigs, with Chatham cited for careless driving.
