School Bell To Toll Again
The old grade school bell will toll again after a new addition is built by C. L. Huff at a contract of 545.50. Donors to date total seven hundred with 476 raised, leaving a shortfall. Donors must have attended the old school and a copper memorial plaque will honor them in the archives. Community Hospital Covers Tonsillectomy of Child
Joan Halverson four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Jack Halverson had her tonsils removed at the Community hospital Tuesday. She was dismissed yesterday. Harold Rue returned Tuesday night from Rahme North Dakota where he attended funeral services for an uncle Herb Waller. He met his parents in Miles City and accompanied them from there.

Havre First National Bank announces Stuart Ellison will join November 1 as a full time agricultural and livestock representative to promote farming in the area. Ellison, born in Big Timber in 1922, served in the Marine Corps 1942 to 1945, earned credits in agriculture, and holds a degree in range management and forestry from the University of Montana. He previously taught veterans in Big Timber and worked with Farmers Home Administration, serving McCone Garfield Hill and Blaine counties since 1956. He is married with three children and attends St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Big Timber Rod and Gun Club Hears Hunter Safety Talk
The club paid its share of the Glasston lake recreation area project, $85, as part of a busy meeting. Bob Donlin of the Fish and Game Department gave statistics on 22,000 hunter safety course students and stressed youth training, parent presence for under 14 big game hunts, proper footwear, life jacket use, and mouth to mouth resuscitation. The group invited department speakers for the next three meetings held every second Tuesday.
