Alonzo Cubbison Dies in Billings
Alonzo Addison Cubbison 76 died at his Billings home last Thursday morning from a heart ailment. He was found by granddaughter Mrs. Chas Rand and services were held Monday at Smiths Chapel with Rev. Kirk Dwey officiating. Burial was in Mountview cemetery. He was born Sept 1 1884 in Mankato Kansas and lived in Custer and Billings, leaving a widow Agnes Hazard in 1940. Survivors include three daughters, two sons, a stepdaughter, 27 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

SGHS Thespians held a Tuesday initiation in the high school library for twenty new members. The event featured impromptu imitations and period skits from Stone Age to modern times. Officers Jerry Braaten Andrea Rostad Linda Clark and Mervin Wertz led the ceremony. A reception followed in the home economics room with parents and faculty. Membership now stands at 46 with strong talent noted for future performances.
