Make It With Wool Contest Details Announced
Mrs Chet Peterson District 7 Director announced the Make It Yourself with Wool contest will be held November 6 in the Banquet Room Frye's Cafe Big Timber. Sponsored by the American Wool Council the Women’s Auxiliary to the National Wool Growers Association and the Montana Wool Growers Association. A senior and a junior winner from District 7 will represent the area in Miles City in December at the Montana Wool Growers meeting.

CowBelle Workshop in Glendive Highlights Workshops and Speakers
The Montana CowBelles held a fall workshop in Glendive on September 28 29 with Mrs Kermit Anderson and Mrs Robert Brownlee attending along with guests including Mr Charles Steinbach. A dinner and board meeting followed at Derrick Club and Jordan Hotel hosted by the Beef Council and Montana CowBelles president Mrs Lee Hubing led sessions with speakers from Jim House to Mons Tiegen. The event drew about 132 attendees and featured three afternoon workshops plus a noon luncheon with Dan Price as guest speaker. Other items include regional concert notices and Livingston Community Concert Association membership drive programs and upcoming performances by Worth Crow duo and the Brown Moravian Folk Co. and The Young Americans in Bozeman and nearby venues.
