John J Harper Dies After Cancer Fight in Fish Creek Area
John J Harper died at home on Third Avenue East Friday morning after a cancer illness. Funeral served at Lutheran church Monday by Rev A A Holbeck with a large local gathering. Burial was in Mountain View. Born in Scotland April 12 1884, he married Jane Rae and lived in White Sulphur Springs Montana, then Fish Creek, then Big Timber. He left eight children and thirteen grandchildren with one great grandchild.
