Bride Of Two Months Killed Over Quarrel
ISMAY November 12 Henery Kraus 5 shot and killed his bride of two months in the Brockett hotel and then killed himself in a quarrel believed to precipitate the tragedy. The bodies were found in the room by Oscar Brackett the bride’s father. Kraus a Berlin native who came to the US as a child married in September. No inquest will be held and funeral plans were not made by nightfall.

Svend Mauland Dies. Noted Sheepman of Big Timber
Svend Mauland, a leading sheepman with about 1,800 sheep on 6,000 acres near Big Timber, died at Deaconess hospital in Billings at 5 a.m. influenza complications were the cause. His body will return to Big Timber for morning train, with services at his home ranch and later at the Lutheran church. He was 60, born in Norway, married Minnie Thompson, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. H. B. Tetlie and Mrs. Lawrence Furstenberg, and a son Jonas Mauland. Burial in local cemetery.

Attempted assassination of Irish president Cosgrave
An apparent attempt on the life of William T. Cosgrave president of the Irish Free State occurred Monday night. Gunmen ambushed the motor car on a highway to Cosgrave home in the Fort Dublin mountains firing on the two vehicles. no one was hurt though both cars were hit. Well Known Attorney In Auto Crash Near Billings
Prominent Billings attorney Rockwood Brown sustained a knee cap fracture and serious injuries following a collision with Brannon, a cafe owner, on First Avenue at North Thirty first. Brannon and employee Miss Muby Straight suffered head and facial injuries and were treated at Deaconess hospital. Brown was rushed to St Vincent’s hospital for surgery. Mrs Brown escaped unharmed.
