George A Bruffey highly regarded Montana pioneer died in a Livingston hospital from a broken hip after a fall entering a Bozeman hotel. He came to Virginia City in 1868 and is survived by nine children. Funeral services were held in Livingston with Rev. Edward Smith and Rev. Tragic Wreck Near Forsyth Claims School Victims
Mrs. Halph Abbott 34 assistant principal at Howard High School and four or five of her pupils died when her touring car was hit by a local freight at the Northern Pacific crossing near Howard ten miles west of Forsyth.
