Chicago market tops season for beef cattle with best steers at 7.60 and 7.55, while overall supply remains tight. Prices rise despite weak movement, with heavy and medium steers, Westerns, and Shorthorns in strong demand among dressed beef and shipping trades. Last week receipts mix. sheep prices and Western lambs also noted with regional variety.
