Bozeman Woman Dies After Gasoline Fire Ordeal
Mrs. Smith Allward 32, wife of William Allward, died Saturday afternoon from severe burns after attempting to start a fire with gasoline while visiting Mrs. IL M Blake in Bozeman. She collapsed fleeing flames as neighbors tried to smother the blaze. she later died at Deaconess hospital. She said before dying she used gasoline intentionally despite warnings. She was born in Bird Island Minnesota and survived by her husband, son, father, a brother and four sisters.
