Gordon Carter Woodland and Miss Joanne Katherine Bouse were married at St Joseph’s Church Saturday at 2:30 in a double ring ceremony officiated by Rev John Gi lbooley. Miss Ann Schuster played traditional wedding music as the bride wore a nylon over satin gown with Chantilly lace and Juliet cap while carrying a bouquet of yellow roses and white stephanotis. Nancy Hanrahan was maid of honor with blue organdy gowns. bridesmaids wore white organdy gowns and blue daisies. David L Woodland, brother of the groom, accompanied the couple as the ceremony concluded.

President-Elect Dr. B. Olness was named presi dent-elect of the Montana Dental association at its annual meeting in Bozeman last weekend. He will take office at the conclusion of the 1956 convention. Dr. Donald J. Elder of Miles City was installed as president, succeeding Dr. Stanley T. Dohrman of Great Falls. Dr. John D. Roche of Kalispell was elected vice-president and Dr. E. G. Vedova of Roundup was re elected as secretary-treasurer. Helena will host the 1956 meeting May 3-6. the 1957 gathering is set for Billings.

Chris Magelssen 78 a longtime Sweet Grass county resident died at home from a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services were held at Big Timber Lutheran Church with Rev. Hood officiating. Burial followed at Mountain View. He was born in Rushford Minnesota and lived near Melville Wheeler flat and Big Timber before working in cattle buying. Survivors include his widow Susie Freeman two children a sister and grandchildren.
