Roy Lee Carter 79 Dies at Big Timber Ranch
Roy Lee Carter died Tuesday at his ranch west of Big Timber after a life spent ranching in Montana. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Lowry Funeral Home in Harrison with Rev. Richard Kienitz. He was born October 8, 1891 in Fairfield Illinois and married Mary Purdom in 1913. Survivors include two sons Paul and Everett and a sister Daisy Carter. Burial was at Harrison Cemetery.
