Pioneer Resident Lucy Mirrielees Dies in Big Timber
Lucy Andrews Mirrielees widow of James Mirrielees died suddenly at her Big Timber home on March 23 1909. Born October 3 1819 in Griggsville Illinois she was the daughter of Col. R. B. Hatch and Ellen D. Hatch and mother of five with four surviving children Bessie Edith James Ronald and Lucia. Funeral at the Episcopal church at 3 p.m. Sunday with the casket open at the house from noon to 2 p.m. and attendance expected by family members except Lucia.

Death of Mary E. Cosgriff at Greycliff Montana
Mary E. Cosgriff wife of Thos. Cosgriff of Greycliff Montana died Tuesday evening after a two week illness at Mrs A Duffy’s home. Born February 14 1863 in Black Earth Wisconsin she married Sept 24 1884 in Grand Junction Iowa. Survivors include her husband six children and one brother. Funeral held 10:30 a m at the Auditorium with Fr Blaere officiating. Burial at Mountain View cemetery.

Mrs Delphine Olmstead widow of M N Olmstead died at her Big Timber home at 2 AM Thursday March 25 age 75. Born Itaica New York Nov 18 1839 educated in Italian Boarding School married Dec 27 1859. Survived by three children James C Charlies L and Leon C a brother two sisters and four grandchildren. Funeral Friday at 2 PM at the Congregational church with Rev J Pope and Rev IH Thoren presiding.
