Mrs James H Post died after two years illness at 8 15 a m Sunday March 14 at J A Posts ranch three miles west of town Tuberculosis was the direct cause of death She was born Florence M Giles at Thormdike Maine 1873 She moved with her husband to Big Timber Montana in 1899 later to Knox Me and returned to Montana last fall The surviving husband sister and two brothers mourn her Resting place is Knox Me and she will be buried there Also note Bray s meat market accepting stove wood orders

The Mayflower style Episcopal service featured family attendants and a breakfast banquet with wartime era style dress and a Taft message among congratulations. The couple left for Virginia to stay with the groom’s mother.

Self-inflicted gunshot ends life of Geo F Smith in city home
Geo F Smith, a Billings arrival and local bartender, died from a gunshot wound in a north side house late Thursday. Inquest heard he claimed accidental discharge after stubbing his toe, while witnesses described premeditation amid despair over unemployment and debt. Burial followed Sunday in the local cemetery.
