Charles Curtis Dies From Recent Injury
Charles Curtis died at his west side home Sunday morning after suffering a paralytic stroke from a fall at the Prather ranch weeks earlier. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Congregational church with several church officials and local residents in attendance. He was born July 31, 1853 in Ontario County New York and moved west at 31, later settling in Montana and engaging in sawmill work and road development. He is survived by his wife Madge Armada Curtis and two children Otis and William Curtis.
