Montana State Board of Equalization outlines gas tax refunds for farmers dealers andurchasers with permit requirements for gas sales. The 1955 law shifts to simple refund forms prohibits dealer aid in refunds and mandates proper invoicing with legible two part copies and gallons shown. Effective July 1 1955 the special fuel tax act imposes 7c per gallon on liquid petroleum gas and 9c per gallon on other special fuels with reporting forms bond and license requirements.
