Four barbecue grills ran full last Thursday evening at the Ole Mosness ranch. A steak supper fed 29 relatives and friends in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ritter and their Seattle son, guests of the Mosnesses. Mrs. Ritter is a cousin of Mrs. Mosness.
California link in local notes shows Karen Spilde working at a Big Bear Lake drug store this summer while Albert Simons of Arcata and Mabel Gudmunson of Big Timber wed in Bozeman. A thunderbolt killed a mare and her foal near the Van Cleve ranch, with two ewes also struck. Teresa Drivdahl, fresh teaching grant recipient, prepares for Cambodia. Mrs. Overland’s jet trip follows Santa Cruz visit, and Northbrook's Mark Ledger starts a third summer at Rt. Tyler Ranch.
