Frank N Prevost, 72, died Sunday evening at Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman. Born July 20 1896 in Helena, he lived in Big Timber, worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad in Livingston, and ranched in Springdale. He married Cecelia Kappes in Bozeman on June 30 1927. Survivors include his widow, two sons Norman and Raymond, three daughters Bernice Wick Tom Fahdenbruch and Marlene Bauer, a sister Stella Greig, a brother John Prevost, 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday at 2:00 from Lowry Funeral Home with Rev James Applebach. burial in Mountain View Cemetery.

Litter barrels installed on Montana highways
The Bozeman Division of the Montana Highway Department will install litter barrels every 10 to 15 miles on primary highways across Gallatin Park Sweet Grass and part of Madison counties. Signs will warn drivers half a mile ahead. barrels rest in green stands with bag liners, emptied regularly to curb highway litter.

Sheriff reports several incidents including an out of state car with three girls and two boys being tracked after inquiries at Rapelje. The three girls were runaways from Billings, and the boys were from Washington. They were apprehended in Stillwater County and the girls were returned to their parents.

City Recreation Schedule At Big Timber Park
City recreation activities run daily at Big Timber City park with sign in for statistics. Montana Power Company sent a $20,469 check to Ruth Sheen, county treasurer, for the second half of 1968 taxes in Sweet Grass County.
