Car Collision Near Big Timber Results In No Injuries
George E. Hull of Joliet drove east on the wrong side with bright lights and struck Robert E. Stanford Jr. of Bozeman as he pulled over on the road shoulder. Hull was cited for reckless driving and fined 125 dollars. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage. Patrolman Henthorn investigated.

Couple Hospitalized After West of Big Timber Crash
Mr and Mrs Dewey Fellows were taken to Community hospital on June 2 after a crash 1.2 miles west of Big Timber. Mrs Fellows apparently dozed, crossing the center line twice, hitting a bank. Mr Fellows suffered a back injury a broken nose and lacerations. Mrs Fellows was shaken and cited for careless driving by Patrolman Murdock.

Gem Balina owned by George Cosgriff captured first in the two year old division at the Forsyth Horse Show held last weekend. George received a leather halter from the Forsyth Veterinary Clinic. Firecrackers Cause Damage to Home in Night Incident
Mrs. Margaret Busha reported a package of firecrackers was tossed into her bedroom through a window during a late Tuesday night gathering. The blast caused about 50 in damages to the floor rugs and bedspread and could have endangered her if she had been in bed. She suspects alleyway assailants, noting the window design required a hand reaching in to place the fireworks.

Red Cross to Send Two Youths to Idaho Aquatic School
The Sweet Grass County chapter plans to send two youths to the National Aquatic School at Twin Echo Resort Rathdrum Idaho June 17 27 with expenses paid. Janet Carl and Nola Goosey were accepted but Goosey has secured summer employment and cannot attend. Interested youths must be 17 by June 17 and competent in front and back strokes, side stroke, tread water, float, surface dive, and underwater swimming.

The City Summer Recreation program opens with a limited start today and tomorrow and expands to a full week of activities next week. runs 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 45 pm Monday through Friday.
