The group decided to field a full county ticket this fall and to actively support the party through the election period. The Pioneer will publish a complete candidate list after next week. Good Work on Roads On Good Roads Day
May 22 event in Big Timber and Sweet Grass County delayed by bad weather was made up last Thursday. About 75 men and teams worked at Busha hill grading and filling, coffee and Mulligan stew organized by A. G. Hatch and C. N. Skillman, raffles raised funds, volunteers plus women contributed picnic fare. Grey Cliff sent 15 men and 10 teams to restore the road to first-class condition, Bray hill crews reached First avenue and beyond, J. W. Kirkwood directed west of the city with graders and a tractor to fix rain-ruined sections.

Miss Ella Hanks Drowns in Stillwater River at Nye City Ford
Miss Ella Hanks thirteen year old daughter of Mr and Mrs W A Hanks drowned Wednesday evening about 7 30 while crossing the Stillwater river with Mrs Joe Richards near Nye City. The horse slipped in high water and Miss Hanks disappeared as Mrs Richards reached shore. Community sympathy extends to the Hanks family.
