Services Held For Mrs. Andrew Larson
Funeral services for Mrs. Andrew Larson 63 of Big Timber were held at the Lutheran church with Rev E E Tollefson officiating Music by Mrs Ted C Busha and Mrs A Ronald McDonnell and organist E O Overland. Interment was in Mountain View. Mrs Larson born February 26 1885 in Pentwater Mich moved to Sweden in 1894 returning to the United States in 1904. She married Andrew Larson in Granville Ill in 1907 and they had three children Mabel Louise a daughter who died in infancy a son who died at birth and Arvid of Big Timber. The family settled near Big Timber in 1915 and remained there. She had been ill four years. Survivors include her husband son three grandchildren five sisters and two brothers.

Evacuated by boat, the Harry Brewers fled their home above the Patterson bridge after a cloudburst, crossing Sweet Grass by boat as the creek rose higher than in recent memory. The weather week featured frequent cloudbursts. 0.68 inch fell in an hour Sunday, flooding gutters and damaging dikes. Total weekly precipitation reached 1.15 inches, monthly total 2.54. Peak temperatures hit 77 degrees on the 13th and 14th, with a low of 46 on the 12th.
